ONLINE PERSONAL PROPERTY AUCTION TERMS
CAUTION: READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY COMPLETING THE
REGISTRATION PROCESS AND PLACING A BID, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY
BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU CANNOT COMPLY WITH THEM FOR ANY
REASON, PLEASE DO NOT BID. BID REGISTRATION AND BIDDING:

Pick up will be on August 4 from 10 AM - 5 PM. Shipping is available for out of area buyers. 

 All bidders are required to establish an account and register to bid before bidding. Your registration must be approved by the Auctioneer before bidding at his or her sole discretion. Your bid constitutes a legally binding and irrevocable offer to purchase the item bid upon. By placing a bid, acknowledged you have read agree to follow all terms and conditions that apply to this auction. All bids are final and, once placed, you cannot retract or remove a bid. Because all internet connections differ in their rate of speed. Your ability
to bid in the waning seconds of a timer may be adversely affected by your connection. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT WAIT TO PLACE BIDS UNTIL THE LAST 15
SECONDS AS A SLOW CONNECTION MAY CAUSE YOUR BID NOT TO BE PLACED. Neither we nor the online auction platform will be responsible for any missed bids or failure of the software to function properly. The auctioneer shall resolve all bidding disputes at his or her sole discretion, and such decision shall be final and binding upon the bidders. Bids placed in the final minutes of the auction may extend the auction according to the terms of the specific auction.

RESERVE AUCTION: Unless otherwise stated in the Auction Announcements and auction specific terms, under Ohio law all auctions are reserve auctions. Please review the auction
specific terms for this issue. If this auction is with reserve, bids remain binding upon the bidder(s) until seller has confirmed or declined bids within 24 hours unless otherwise stated.

BUYERS PREMIUM:  There is a 15 % buyer's premium. That amount will be added to your final
bid. For instance, if your winning bid is $100.00, at check-out you will be charged $115. 00. Please check the auction specific terms to determine whether a
buyer’s premium is applicable to this auction.
PAYMENT: Payment can be made with a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover) Invoices over $2,000 will be required to pay via wire transfer. A $25.00 fee will be assessed for any declined payment. Please examine your invoice carefully at the conclusion of the auction. By placing a bid, you are agreeing to allow us to charge your credit card following the auction for the full amount of your bid and any applicable buyer’s premium for all items in
which you are the successful bidder.
FIRM PICK-UP DATE: All items must be removed during the scheduled pickup time(s) unless alternate arrangements agreed to by the Auctioneer are made in advance of the pick-up date. Any items not removed during the pickup times will become the property of Kaufman Realty & Auctions & will be handled at our discretion. Kaufman Realty & Auctions reserves the right to resell your items in a future sale without issuing a refund. Please review the auction specific terms to confirm the date, time and location of the pick-up date, and be sure make appropriate arrangements to ensure you can safely load and transport your items.
SHIPPING: Shipping may be available on smaller items for the convenience of buyer. Kaufman Realty & Auctions utilizes a third party for our carrier. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost plus packaging and labor. Insurance is provided for damage which occurs during shipment. In the event of damage during
shipment, Buyer’s recovery is limited to available insurance and in no event shall it exceed the purchase price of the damaged item. Please check the auction specific terms prior to bidding to confirm whether or not shipping is available.
NO WARANTIES OF ANY KIND: All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”, with NO WARRANTY expressed or implied and of any kind. You acknowledge that you are not relying on any representation or warranty by the seller or the seller’s agent(s) regarding the character, quality, condition, or fitness, including but not limited to fitness for a particular use of any item
sold. Descriptions are believed to be accurate but are not guaranteed. Any mention of an item’s condition is not an official grading of the item’s condition. It is your sole responsibility to
determine the quality and character of any item, and to complete any inspections you require,
prior to placing your bid.
JURISDICTION AND VENUE: For auctions originating out of Illinois, jurisdiction and venue shall exclusively lie in the courts of Christian County, and Illinois law shall
apply.
