Note from Family Friend: This sale, the first of more to come, represents a partial lifetime accumulation of Ewing Giffin, Alice’s deceased husband. Ewing graduated from OSU with a degree in agricultural engineering. He went on to work for the Allis Chalmers Company. From there WF Weigley and Co, an Allis Chalmers dealer in Wooster. Upon their closing he went to Agrimark/Town & Country machinery division as their service manager. Upon his retirement he worked for neighboring farmers when not taking care of his place. Ewing was well known in the agriculture circle…….Salesman, Mechanic, Partner and most importantly Friend.
